What is CiCLO?
CiCLO is a masterbatch additive available with a multitude of advantages.

We discuss their revolutionary product, which when combined with synthetic yarn, during melt extrusion process, will help accelerate the biodegradation rate of synthetic textiles in the landfills and in the oceans.
*Results are from an ASTM D5511 Test Method study comparing rate and extent of biodegradation between recycled polyester treated with CiCLO and wool over 600 days, respectively reported to be 87.6% and 71.2% at that point in time. Biodegradation studies are conducted and validated by independent 3rd party laboratories using internationally recognized ASTM Test Methods. Laboratory studies represent optimal conditions. As with all materials, the actual rate and extent of biodegradation of CiCLO fibres are dependent upon individual conditions in actual environments. Important California Notice: California law prohibits the sale of plastic products that are labeled with the term of ‘biodegradable’ or ‘decomposable’ or any form of those terms, or imply in any way that the item will break down, biodegrade or decompose in a landfill or any other environment.
